AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY :: party for a cause

The Hick Party is a benefit for the American Cancer Society. We chose this organization because cancer effects everyone. 1 out of 3 Americans will get cancer in their lifetime and those who don't fight it personally will have loved ones that will.

100% of the proceeds go straight to American Cancer Society for funding research and education right here in the state of Washington.

Our goal with every Hick Party is to celebrate life and the spirit of American ingenuity. We’ve always had plenty of food, activities, games and music but this year with your help, we plan to raise $10,000 through a silent auction, raffle, t-shirt sales, beer passes and other creative fund-raising methods. We know how important it is to give back to the community you’re part of and this is our step toward setting that example.

Your generous donations aid ACS in their mission to save lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures and fighting back against cancer. This money will go directly to funding research to fight the battle against cancer right here in the state of Washington. Know that by supporting this event you are saving lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures and fighting back against cancer.

Sport your Spirit :: t-shirts

The most important factor when fighting cancer is the belief that you can beat the challenges in front of you. You never stop believing in a cure and fight for that cause.

This year we designed American Cancer Society t-shirts sporting the phrase 'Don't Stop Believin' in tribute to all those who've fought the fight and continue to do so. The most epic of 80s rock ballads had something to do with that as well (thanks Journey!).

PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG :: camp overnight

We strongly encourage our guests to pitch a tent and spend the night at the Pelland Ranch the night of the party. What better way to cap off your HICK PARTY experience than with a large country style breakfast the next morning?!

All camp trailers & motor homes must be parked the night before on Friday, August 12th in order for us to setup stages, parking and of course, the excavator welcome arch!
